Job summary

HDR seeks a Navy Programs Director to lead the Federal Business Group's Navy programs, driving growth and program excellence across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with leadership to pursue opportunities, manage budgets, and guide teams and stakeholders nationwide.

Responsibilities include strategic direction, client management, and ensuring quality and compliance while advancing HDR’s employee-owned culture and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a professional area of study relevant to engineering, architecture, planning or science; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in strategic planning and program management.
• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Navy (including Marine Corps) Programs strategic direction and visioning.
• Support sales teams to achieve sales goals related to Navy Programs.
• Develop new projects, markets, business classes, project planning, financial information, staffing requirements, marketing materials and other related matters for Navy Programs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with Federal Regional Directors and oversee Navy Programs staff.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance to achieve defined goals.
• Monitor Navy Programs direction, growth, policies and practices; manage risk and compliance.
• Collaborate with company managers and leadership on programs and directives.
• Assist with relationships with client bases and partner organizations.
