Job summary

Serco is seeking a dynamic Project Manager for its Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO) to oversee engineering and technical services in support of U.S. Navy surface ships. The role is based at Pearl Harbor, HI and requires a DoD Secret clearance.

You will lead HM&E and aviation systems teams, manage maintenance planning and repair work, and build training and work packages while coordinating with ship's force and reactor departments. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field with seven+ years in engineering management.
• Five years supervisory experience in surface ship maintenance or design.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems on naval ships.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment interfacing with combat systems.
• Oversee inspections and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Liaise with ship's reactor department prior to inspections and production work.
• Develop training and work packages for on-board ship operations.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships.
