Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager for NASO to oversee engineering and technical services supporting U.S. Navy surface ships. The role is located at Mayport, FL and requires maintaining a DoD Secret clearance.

You will lead HM&E and propulsion-related work, coordinate with Ship's Force, and develop formal work packages while guiding teams and training personnel. This position emphasizes leadership and naval engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years’ experience in related engineering management field, or Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years’ experience in related engineering management field.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Five years’ supervisory experience in technical assistance, maintenance, or design related to surface ships.
• Two years direct experience with auxiliary, electrical and damage control systems for U.S. Naval Ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment interfacing with combat support systems.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, and repairs and recommend maintenance or repair actions.
• Liaison with ship’s reactor department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
• Provide technical support and advice to Ship's Force for overhaul and repair of auxiliary machinery and hull systems.
• Develop FWPs and CWPs in accordance with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
