Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO) to oversee engineering and technical services for U.S. Navy carriers and surface ships. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and readiness to travel up to 25% across CONUS/OCONUS. You will lead teams, drive maintenance planning, and coordinate with shipboard and naval authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as required for naval engineering leadership.
• Extensive supervisory and project management experience in naval environments.
• Experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems on ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment interfacing with combat systems.
• Oversee inspections, analysis, and repairs for naval propulsion and related systems.
• Liaise with ship’s reactor department before inspections, testing, and work.
• Manage fault identification and on-ship repairs for propulsion and ship systems.
• Provide technical support for operation, overhaul, and repair activities.
• Develop training and formal work packages for on-board personnel.
