Job summary

Serco Inc. in Bremerton, WA, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead engineering and technical services for overhaul and repair of U.S. Navy carriers. You will supervise teams, guide maintenance planning, and ensure safe, compliant execution of complex HM&E and aviation support work.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and extensive naval maintenance experience. Travel up to CONUS/OCONUS may be required, with close collaboration across Ship's Force and major shipyards.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 7+ years in engineering management or 14 years with an Associates degree.
• Experience supervising naval carrier maintenance or ship systems.
• Strong leadership and project planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation systems interfacing with combat support systems.
• Oversee inspections, analyses, and repairs with maintenance planning input.
• Liaise with ship’s reactor department before inspections and testing.
• Guide fault identification and on-board repairs of propulsion and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support on operation, overhaul, and repair of auxiliary machinery.
• Develop training and work packages; manage short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
