Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a dynamic Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation to oversee engineering services for U.S. Navy carriers. The role requires managing HM&E and aviation systems, coordinating with ship crews, and guiding maintenance planning and repair activities.

The successful candidate will bring seven-plus years in engineering management, a DoD clearance, and strong leadership of large teams in naval environments, with travel as needed. Location: Brementon, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years’ experience in related engineering management field, or Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years’ experience in related engineering management field.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Five years’ supervisory experience in engineering management for Navy carriers/surface ships.
• Three years closely involved with maintenance, design, operation of propulsion and related systems.
• Two years direct experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation systems.
• Oversee inspections, analyses, and repairs on naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Coordinate with ship’s reactor department before inspections and work.
• Develop training and work packages for maintenance and modernization.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
