Job summary

Serco is seeking a Deputy Engineering Project Lead to join our Naval Acquisition and Sustainment team in the Arlington, VA area. You will guide technical teams through CCD changes, budgeting, and POM planning while interfacing with Navy and industry partners.

You will develop data-driven insights, support test and evaluation activities, and help manage workloads, schedules, and contractual deliveries. A strong engineering background and DoD familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 4 years of related/relevant experience.
• Strong communication and program management skills.
• Ability to learn shipbuilding acquisition, design, production, test and trials, and configuration management.
• Experience with systems engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team’s change tracking and development of work productions for the CCD process.
• Assist the task lead with TPS management, POM issue briefs, and budget exhibit updates.
• Familiarize with SSC, LCAC, LCU, and LSM HM&E and C4N systems and provide recommendations.
• Understand Navy test and evaluation processes and trials; support DT/OT/IT testing.
• Provide assessment, analysis, and recommendations for test events.
• Identify cost impacts/savings for technical proposals and fleet impact.
• Develop online databases, status updates, and metrics; participate in program reviews.
• Provide PM and technical support to Navy Amphibious Assault/Connectors programs.
