Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting the US Navy under the Team Submarine contract in Washington, DC. You will provide programmatic support, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and serve as primary customer contact.

You will drive acquisition planning, contract management, and budget development while ensuring delivery within scope and funding, collaborating with engineering and operations to sustain submarine readiness.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field; or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience in engineering/science management, cost analysis, Navy programs.
• Willingness to travel at least 10%.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and update the customer on project status.
• Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Be the single point of contact on all contract management issues and required reports.
• Provide financial and management support to assist in budget development for the contract.
• Deliver technical performance within cost and schedule parameters.
• Manage staff and provide direction to the assigned program.
• Develop and monitor program plan with time and cost estimates.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and deliver formal briefings.
• Participate in Business Development efforts.
