Layton Construction seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, management, and execution of multiple construction projects nationwide. You will help ensure quality, safety, and profitability while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, and documentation, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and participate in value engineering. Relocation to project sites nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills demonstrated in previous roles.
• Strong negotiation and coordination abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and organizational skills in project environments.
• Able to work well with others and support teammates to achieve goals.
• Basic Spanish commands helpful for on-site communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, management, and execution of multiple construction projects.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones.
• Develop and review submittals, RFIs, and change orders with cost impact.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning meetings and subcontractor negotiations.
• Maintain owner relationships and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project goals.
• Ensure timely close-out procedures and project documentation.
