Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a field service technician to install, configure, and update medical devices and related software at healthcare facilities. You will perform routine post-install checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with calibration protocols and credentialing requirements.

The role requires extensive travel, open availability Monday–Friday, and occasional nights/weekends. Prior IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy tech experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory sourced from approved vendors.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Perform routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, escalates when needed.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain hospital vendor credentialing compliance.
