Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Pre-Construction Manager to lead nationwide planning for new data center sites.

You will coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence, and other teams to forecast schedules, manage budgets, and provide constructability guidance across multiple campuses. You will drive bid evaluations, contract documentation, and handoff packages to Construction Managers while sharing lessons learned to continuously improve program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience taking design concepts through exploration to deployment.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-construction oversight for new data center sites nationwide.
• Serve as liaison between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence and partners.
• Forecast schedules and prepare construction budgets and constructability guidance.
• Review bids, contracts, and scoping documents with detail and accuracy.
• Coordinate with GC and third-party vendors during design phase.
• Define construction scopes and request for proposals to GCs and evaluate bids.
• Develop handoff project documentation to Construction Manager partners.
• Share lessons learned to improve program delivery.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
