Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr Pre-Construction Manager to lead the program execution for national data center projects.

You will coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence and other partners from initial planning through design development to forecast schedules and budgets, guiding constructability decisions and preconstruction strategies. You will be the primary liaison across multi-disciplinary teams, driving cost control, schedules, and effective stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management of large, complex data-center projects.
• Experience in data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction).
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Be Amazon’s construction representative on multiple data center sites from due diligence to hand‑off.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding and award.
• Create construction project Scope of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
• Conduct negotiations with GCs and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy.
• Manage cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating contractors and vendors.
• Provide constructability reviews for civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs.
