Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager for National Security.

You will be the primary technical advisor to classified environments, owning the technical trajectory and guiding architecture decisions for added resilience. This role emphasizes executive-level advisory skills, with responsibilities spanning secure cloud design, proactive risk management, and cross-team collaboration to support TS/SCI customers with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Customer-facing experience as a technical lead is required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• 5+ years designing, developing, operating, and/or consulting distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with National Security customers to review architectures and ensure resilience.
• Design secure cloud solutions for classified workloads.
• Drive proactive risk management to identify gaps before incidents occur.
• Accelerate AI/ML adoption by integrating SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS/EKS where appropriate.
• Represent the customer inside AWS by communicating needs across service teams and roadmaps.
