Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as a strategic technical advisor for National Security customers, helping them adopt AWS services and best practices across compute, storage, databases, and more.

The TAM will collaborate with executives and senior leaders, understand business challenges, and maintain operational health of customer environments, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience informational technology operations.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to National Security customers to plan and build AWS solutions.
• Drive adoption of AWS services and best practices and discuss incidents, trade-offs and risk with senior leadership.
• Travel up to 10% or more as needed to support customers.
