Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager. You will manage relationships with top national rental accounts, primarily from the West and Central regions, while traveling 60–75% of the time. This salaried role offers base pay plus uncapped commission and full benefits.

You will develop sales plans, lead meetings, and build strong relationships across all levels of client organizations, empowering growth and wallet share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of experience with quota achievement in sales roles.
• Prior experience in rental industry or RAM/BDM on lease preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of about 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develops sales and communication plans for each account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends events and trade shows in the territory.
• Completes annual business reviews with customers.
• Analyzes profitability and competitive risks within each account.
• Coaches RAMs to grow into higher sales roles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
