Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a portfolio of top national rental accounts across the West and Central regions.

This is a 100% sales role focused on retaining and growing current accounts and increasing profitability. The position can be remote with a preference for candidates in the West or Central regions, offering base pay plus uncapped commissions, mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales roles with quota achievement.
• Prior experience in rental/lease sectors is a plus.
• Demonstrated sales excellence and ability to grow wallet share.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of ~100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each account.
• Leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows within the territory.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
