Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage and grow a book of top national rental accounts across the West and Central regions. This 100% sales role focuses on retention, wallet share growth, and profitability, with travel 60% to 75% and a remote work option.

Youll earn a base salary of $70,000 with uncapped commissions, mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and full benefits including 401(k) with employer match. Prior rental industry experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts, growing wallet share and revenue.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries within the territory.
• Performs annual business reviews with assigned customers.
