Job summary

CDW LLC is seeking a Consulting Solution Architect - NetApp to drive pre-sales engagements across storage, data management, cyber resiliency, and AI-ready infrastructure for national clients.

You will partner with customers, delivery teams, field Solution Architects, and NetApp to design architectures, craft SBOMs, statements of work, and service scopes, while advancing pipeline and strategic partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years in technical, pre-sales, consulting, architecture, or post-sale delivery roles.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and AI infrastructure.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into solution architectures, BOMs, proposals, and service scopes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership in cross-functional teams across sales, services, and delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including architecture reviews and advisory services.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, field Solution Architects, internal sales, and NetApp to plan strategy and author SOWs.
• Gather requirements and translate them into architectures, BOMs, proposals, and service scopes that align to customer outcomes.
• Design and position NetApp solutions across ONTAP storage, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and AI data infrastructure.
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations, define actions to meet customer expectations during the sales cycle.
• Serve as a national subject matter expert and escalation point for complex, strategic NetApp opportunities across CDW.
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal teams, and NetApp to drive growth.
• Maintain partnerships with key strategic vendors by pursuing NetApp certifications; emphasize NetApp technologies.
• Grow influence nationally through engagement with customers, sales teams, vendors, and partners.
• Partner with leaders to support national NetApp growth strategies, GTM initiatives, and service development.
• Act as SME across multiple product families and contribute to marketing activities and events.
• Drive outreach, enablement projects, and mentoring for Solution Architects and sellers.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, best practices, and enablement content to improve field readiness.
• Collaborate across cloud, compute, networking, security, virtualization, AI, and services teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Represent CDW in NetApp and industry engagements, including executive briefings and joint activities.
