Job summary

Compass is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its National Workplace Operations & Facilities team. This role manages a portfolio of construction, capital improvement, and facility maintenance projects across the company’s national office footprint.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5–7+ years of experience managing commercial construction, workplace, or facilities projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong budget management and financial tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage office build-outs, relocations, and capital refresh projects from planning through completion.
• Develop project scopes, RFPs, bid packages, and procurement strategies.
• Oversee external project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and tracking tools to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct project due diligence to identify risks, building conditions, and potential constraints.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align project schedules, budgets, and business requirements.
• Ensure all projects meet Compass design, quality, and brand standards.
