Job summary

Compass is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of construction, capital improvement, and facility maintenance projects across our California footprint.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget while upholding Compass design and brand standards. This onsite role supports a dynamic workplace operations team across multiple hubs.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience managing commercial construction, workplace, or facilities projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong budget management and financial tracking experience.
• Proficiency with construction and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage office build-outs, relocations, and capital refresh projects from planning through completion.
• Develop project scopes, RFPs, bid packages, and procurement strategies tailored to project objectives and local market conditions.
• Oversee external project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and tracking tools to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct project due diligence to identify risks, building conditions, and potential constraints.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align project schedules, budgets, and business requirements.
• Ensure all projects meet Compass design, quality, and brand standards.
