Job summary

Flexcar is seeking an Environmental Programs Manager to build and own our national environmental compliance program across a network of hubs. You will manage permits, registrations, inspections, and vendor relationships, while coordinating with regional EHS Specialists to ensure day-to-day compliance nationwide.

The role requires 5+ years of environmental compliance, California Title 22 experience preferred, and willingness to travel across the hub network (30-40%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental compliance across fleet, automotive service, manufacturing, distribution, or consulting.
• Experience with California Title 22 and RCRA regulations preferred.
• DOT HazMat training and HAZWOPER awareness or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Own national environmental program across all states with site playbooks and inspection checklists.
• Manage permits, registrations, renewals, inspections, and reporting deadlines; track corrective actions to closure.
• Serve as primary regulatory liaison for agency inspections and information requests.
• Conduct periodic site environmental audits and report risks to Operations leadership.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate into program updates to prevent findings.
