Job summary

Flexcar is seeking a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support field operations across the West. You will own safety across hubs where vehicles are handled and execute the company’s environmental program at sites.

This role requires traveling across assigned sites and implementing IIPP, heat illness, and violence prevention programs, with a strong focus on OSHA compliance. You will train site leaders, conduct inspections, respond to incidents, and ensure records stay

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EHS experience in automotive service, collision or reconditioning, fleet, manufacturing, distribution, or a comparable industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) at your sites.
• Own the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (SB 553) at your sites.
• Own heat illness prevention for outdoor lot work and indoor shop environments.
• Manage Cal/OSHA compliance, including serious injury reporting within required timeframes, Form 300/300A recordkeeping and posting, and inspection response support.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Deliver EHS training and build site capability with field leadership.
