Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking an environmental professional to lead nationwide environmental compliance programs and oversee field locations.

The role requires travel up to 70% across the US and Canada, conducting field audits, providing training, and coordinating with operations, regulators, and vendors to implement practical, compliant solutions for new product offerings and fleet services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Occupational or Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or related field.
• At least three years of environmental compliance experience across multiple locations and field-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental risks and regulatory requirements for new product offerings.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and improve environmental compliance programs for field locations.
• Visit field and customer sites to audit compliance and provide on-site guidance and training.
• Collaborate with field operations, regulators, and contractors to address regulatory challenges.
• Research and communicate environmental requirements across multiple states.
• Maintain records and monitor program performance to identify trends and improvements.
• Perform additional environmental projects as assigned.
