Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions seeks an environmental professional to lead nationwide compliance programs for new product offerings and oversee environmental compliance at multiple sites.

The role requires evaluating regulatory requirements, developing practical procedures, and coordinating with operations and maintenance teams across the United States and Canada. Travel up to 70% with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Occupational or Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or a related field.
• At least three years of environmental compliance experience, preferably across multiple locations and field-based operations.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental requirements including hazardous waste, spills, stormwater, air emissions, inspections, and closures.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical procedures for field and maintenance teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; capable of managing multiple priorities across a large geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new product offerings to identify environmental risks and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental compliance programs across field locations.
• Visit field sites to audit compliance, provide guidance, and support regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, regulators, and customers to solve complex challenges.
• Research and communicate environmental requirements across multiple states.
