Job summary

Flexcar is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This hands-on field role owns safety programs across multiple sites, conducts inspections, investigates incidents, and manages environmental records.

You will travel regularly to assigned hubs, drive training, and partner with site leaders to ensure a safe, compliant operation. The position emphasizes field work in shop bays and lots, with a strong focus on incident investigation, waste management, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on EHS experience in automotive service, collision, fleet or industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and site-level hazardous waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day safety program execution across sites, including hazards & PPE.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and audits with due dates and owners.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A recordkeeping and reporting obligations.
• Partner with site leads to build local EHS capability.
• Execute environmental program at sites following set standards and checklists.
• Maintain waste manifests, training records and inspection logs.
• Coordinate waste pickups with approved haulers and ensure compliance.
• Support regulatory inspections with Environmental Programs Manager.
• Maintain SDS access and chemical inventories at site level.
• Respond to injuries and lead investigations to root cause and closure.
• Deliver EHS training and coaching on safety conversations and toolbox talks.
• Stand up safety programs for new site launches and expansion projects.
