Job summary

Flexcar is seeking a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support field operations across the West, mainly San Jose and El Monte. You will own safety at hubs where cars are received, repaired, and handed to members, while leading the environmental program at your sites.

Travel across assigned sites is required. You will manage IIPP and workplace violence prevention, heat illness prevention, Cal/OSHA compliance, and incident investigations, partnering with site leadership to

Qualifications

• Experience in Environmental Health & Safety program management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA or state EHS regulations is desirable.
• Ability to travel regularly across multiple sites and manage field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead California safety compliance programs including IIPP and SB 553 responsibilities.
• Manage safety program execution across assigned field sites, including inspections and training.
• Execute environmental program requirements at each site, maintain records and coordinate waste management.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with site leadership.
• Deliver EHS training, build site capability, and support new site launches and facilities projects.
