Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a highly motivated Director of Business Development to lead and expand our nationwide sales footprint. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with industry professionals and strategically driving new business opportunities across markets.

The position requires 5+ years of construction sales experience, a construction-related bachelor’s degree, strong A/E/C acumen, and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction sales experience with a proven track record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction-related field or Sales with construction experience.
• Strong business acumen within the A/E/C industry.
• Technical sales experience in construction industry.
• Working knowledge of design/build construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and awareness.
• Research key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographies.
• Help develop and manage the sales plan execution.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to build client relationships.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, PM, and operations teams.
• Travel as needed, up to 40%.
