Job summary

ARCO Companies seeks a Director of Business Development to lead national sales from Cincinnati, OH. You will identify opportunities, expand ARCO’s footprint, and guide strategic sales initiatives across sectors, travel up to 40% to engage clients and partners.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction sales, a construction-related degree or equivalent sales background, and strong market acumen for design/build projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction sales experience with a proven track record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction-related field (orSales with relevant Construction Experience).
• Strong business acumen within the A/E/C industry.
• Technical sales experience in the construction industry.
• Working knowledge of the technical aspects of design/build construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographic areas.
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and establish relationships with new clients.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations teams.
