Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national analytics efforts across underwriting, renewals, and client decisions. You will gather and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data, develop data-driven insights, and support carrier pricing, funding analyses, and strategic client advisement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data‑driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
