Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national analytics initiatives and support underwriting, renewals, and client decision‑making. The role partners with Benefits teams, Producers, and account stakeholders to deliver data‑driven insights and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of analytics experience in employee benefits, possess strong Excel and BI skills, and communicate complex findings clearly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
  • Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support analytics activities on a national scale, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and client consultation.
  • Provide underwriting support through data evaluation and recommendations for carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
  • Partner with Producers and Benefits teams to provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, and business development.
  • Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
  • Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency.
  • Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support client objectives.
