Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a National Analytic Consultant for Employee Benefits to lead national data analytics, data collection, interpretation, reporting, and client consultation, partnering with underwriters, producers, and benefits teams.

The role supports underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic client decisions, using analytics and technology to drive growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data for client strategy.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for carrier pricing and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies and reporting standards.
• Technology Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and accounts teams.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication of findings and recommendations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide analytical guidance and support team development.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies and industry best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
