Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the IOA Benefits Group. The role emphasizes data collection, interpretation, reporting, and client consultation to inform underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic decisions.

You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights, develop dashboards, and support business growth while

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years experience in analytics or related field.
  • Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment.
  • Ability to communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
  • Evaluate underwriting data and support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
  • Deliver data-driven insights for client understanding of risks, trends, and program performance.
  • Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits communicating complex information clearly.
  • Develop analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
  • Utilize BI tools to enhance client outcomes and operations.
  • Analyze trends and benchmark data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Recommend process improvements for efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support client objectives.
  • Maintain clear communication of findings and recommendations.
  • Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing to the team.
  • Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding, and market trends.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Champion IOA values in interactions.
