Job summary

Edward Don & Company is seeking an inside support specialist for National Accounts. You will back a National Account Sales Manager with day-to-day tasks including projects, rollouts, pre-packs, new location openings, quotes, sourcing, reporting, and order processing.

You will use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint daily, handle confidential information, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Credit teams to keep accounts running smoothly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 4+ years Sales/Distribution office experience OR Bachelor's with 1+ year experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, multitasking and independent work abilities.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 1 year in Food Service industry in an office setting.
• Preferred: SAP experience and AutoQuotes experience; advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Confidentiality and handling sensitive information is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class service to Corporate Contacts at assigned National Accounts.
• Serve as subject matter expert on assigned National Accounts and Don programs.
• Research and source new items to meet program initiatives.
• Prepare quotes in AutoQuotes and Excel; assemble materials for proposals.
• Set up vendors, NMRS, and contracts.
• Coordinate with National Accounts Sales to ensure on-time project completion.
• Utilize SAP and in-house reporting tools for daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Coordinate logistics for openings, rollouts, and special orders.
• Resolve corporate customer problems and questions.
• Maintain Order Guides, Web Templates and Opening Templates.
• Assist in order placement and product check-in for pre-packs/rollouts.
• Coordinate special projects with Supply Chain Management.
• Interact with vendors on contracts, quotes, item setup, stocking levels.
• Work with National Accounts Credit Team on account setups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve internal/external customer issues.
• Maintain correspondence to determine customer needs and stay current on contract changes.
• Build relationships and foster sales opportunities with corporate level customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
