Daikin Applied Americas seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical, set strategy, and drive growth on a national scale. You will manage a remote team, coordinate with operations and product development, and build executive-level relationships with hyperscalers and data center operators.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional leadership across supply chain, manufacturing, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, trends and growth potential for Data Center verticals.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for Data Center market and provide updates to leadership; align with field feedback.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism; scale complex solutions across field, manufacturing, and sales leadership.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation of vertical strategy with internal teams; monitor competitor activity and adapt plans.
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing on materials, events, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts; manage pipeline growth, headcount planning, and performance development.
