Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. The role will set strategy, develop business plans, and drive profitable growth with executive-level stakeholder engagement.

The position is remote with 50% travel and reports to the VP of National Accounts. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in leading sales teams through rapid data center growth and building executive relationships with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development, including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Centers vertical market within the National Accounts team.
• Set vertical market strategy and business plans to drive growth and profitability.
• Drive customer planning and execution to elevate the Data Center team's performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams across supply chain, manufacturing, service, and product development.
• Hire, train, and develop headcount; manage pipeline growth and assess opportunities.
