Job summary

Compass Group USA, the national account management arm for Canteen, offers a dynamic role in the Minneapolis/Charlotte area. The Account Coordinator supports Client Managers on national Fortune 500 client programs, handling projects, escalated service calls, and multi-account priorities.

Ideal candidates bring a strong customer service background, good communication, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
With a Bachelor’s degree, six months of equivalent advanced customer service experience is required—one year is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communications skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships.
Timeliness and accuracy with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook; Excel experience with calculations and VLookup.
Experience in ERP programs (JDE, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

First level escalation for unresolved client issues.
Resolve issues such as installation delays, service problems, pricing or rate issues.
Manage projects including new store openings and client rollouts.
Communicate client expectations to operations and customer service.
Run reports to verify information and proper system setup.
Provide status updates to Client Managers and team members.
Support activities for Client Manager’s clients, including service issues and catalog requests.
Build relationships with assigned lower-volume clients.
