Compass Group USA, the national account management arm for canteen services, is seeking an Account Coordinator to support Client Managers on Fortune 500 accounts on a national basis. The role involves handling program projects, client initiatives, and escalated service calls while balancing multiple accounts and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant customer service experience.
• High school diploma required; 3–6 months experience with advanced customer service for diploma holders; 1 year preferred with bachelor’s.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Timeliness and accuracy in prioritizing and organizing work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level escalation for unresolved client issues.
• Resolve installation delays, service problems, pricing or rate issues.
• Resolve disputes between client locations and vendors.
• Manage projects such as new store openings and client rollouts.
• Communicate client expectations to operations and customer service.
• Determine internal resource requirements based on project needs.
• Establish and communicate a usable schedule.
• Provide project status reports to Client Managers.
• Support activities for clients including service issues and catalog items.
