Job summary

MetLife's Client Services Consultant II role provides administrative and consultative support to National Accounts group insurance clients, partnering with account teams to manage relationships and deliver outstanding service. You will lead client meetings, prepare reports, review plan documents, and coordinate plan changes with internal partners.

For this position, a High School diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience is required, and knowledge of Group Benefits products is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience supporting clients and benefits programs.
• Strong knowledge of Group Benefits products including Dental, Life, Disability, Vision, Accident & Health, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Pet, and Auto & Home coverage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AI-enabled tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
• Self-motivated professional able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact, providing consultative support and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead and participate in client-facing meetings, presentations, stewardship reviews, and strategic planning sessions with clients and brokers.
• Develop procedures and reports, review plan documents, maintain data accuracy, and support client-requested audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, implement plan changes, and coordinate new benefit coverage.
• Partner with financial teams to prepare reports, analyze performance, and identify trends to support client needs.
• Represent MetLife at benefit fairs and vendor meetings while staying current on industry trends and products.
