Job summary

Global Recruiters of Covington (GRN) represents a consumer products company in the gift, home and tabletop sector hiring a National Account Sales Representative to manage and grow assigned retail accounts and develop new business.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in consumer products sales or account management, strong organization, and a willingness to travel. You will collaborate across buyers, product and operations teams while working remotely and driving growth.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of consumer products sales or account management experience.
• Familiarity with retail buyer communication and account requirements.
• Ability to prospect for new business while growing existing relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation and follow-through skills.
• Comfort analyzing sales data and managing multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of national retail accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand product assortments and seasonal programs.
• Prospect for new customers and develop relationships with buyers.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and account plans.
• Analyze sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain forecasts and coordinate with teams on inventory and delivery needs.
• Track timelines and coordinate with external sales reps on activity.
• Attend trade shows and customer meetings as needed.
