Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a track record of success.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business via prospecting.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.
• Working knowledge of CRM and MS Office tools.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a regional sales territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities via direct prospecting and calls.
• Support field activity with walks, events and in-person meetings.
• Position Cogent services through consultative selling and relationship building.
• Position Cogent services for current and future connectivity needs.
• Achieve monthly revenue goals across national commercial and retail buildings.
