Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a track record of success.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.
• Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and a CRM.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within regional and national sales territories.
• Use calls and emails to identify and engage key decision makers.
• Support prospecting with field activities and customer meetings.
• Apply consultative selling to identify connectivity solutions.
• Position Cogent services to win new business.
• Hit monthly revenue targets in large commercial buildings and campuses.
