Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe Field Claims Specialist to respond to major disaster events nationwide, including hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, and floods. This field-based role involves extensive travel, on-site inspections, and proactive customer communication to guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property claims experience, strong knowledge of Xactimate, and the ability to manage complex claims independently in CAT

Qualificações

• Three to five years of related property claims experience or comparable job-related experience, or education preferred.
• Experience in a customer service environment, including flexible work schedules and extended work hours preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance theory and practices, and contracts and their application.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates using Xactimate.
• Own the full lifecycle of claims, including reserving, supplements, and documentation.
• Provide proactive, consistent updates to customers throughout the claims process.
