Job summary

CSGORoll is seeking a senior storyteller to own the narrative across our content and communications. You’ll translate user sentiment, community feedback, and product direction into a clear, coherent story that resonates with players and partners.

You’ll collaborate with management, Product, and creative teams to plan stories aligned with the roadmap, produce authentic CS2 content, and ensure every channel speaks with one voice.

Qualifications

• Creative and a genuinely good storyteller.
• Hands-on– can deliver value without needing a team underneath them.
• HighEQ with a strong understanding of psychology and perception.
• Curious and willing to actually research what people are saying.
• A good planner and executor.
• A strong communicator who can work across management, Product, Customer Relations, BI and creative people.
• Capable of directing and criticizing creative work.
• Commercially sensible with production/collaboration costs.
• Ideally familiar with CS2, esports, gaming and internet culture– or capable of becoming deeply immersed in it very quickly.

Responsibilities

• Understand perception– keep ear to the ground across customers, CS2 community, public discussion, feedback, Product and BI.
• Build the narrative– turn product direction into a clear story for management and Product.
• Keep it coherent– ensure socials, blogs and product communication fit the wider narrative.
• Create the content plan– decide stories to publish aligned with roadmap, events and CS2 scene.
• Create content people want to watch– authentic CS2 and community content, not just ads.
• Maximize production value– create multiple pieces from a single collaboration or shoot.
• Execute– work with designers/editors and coordinate contractors when needed.
• Stay close to the community– communicate in a human, authentic way.
