Job summary

Canonical is seeking a content leader to own storytelling and narrative strategy across marketing outputs. You will shape content that aligns with business goals and brand positioning, and drive messaging that resonates with technical audiences.

You will develop and execute a data-driven content plan, manage calendars, and ensure quality, consistency, and SEO alignment across articles, guides, and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content or related roles, with 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Portfolio of written work required.
• Applied knowledge of GEO and SEO and relevant tools.
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills with efficient content production processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategy aligned with business goals, SEO, and brand
• Manage the content calendar end to end with clear processes
• Ensure content quality, consistency and brand alignment across outputs
• Collaborate with web and growth engineering to optimize content for search and AI
• Oversee quarterly content planning with product management and marketing teams
• Monitor KPIs and use analytics to identify improvement opportunities
