Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is accepting applications for a Civil Engineer Intern for the 2027 summer season on our Municipal team in the Twin Cities Metro area. This internship focuses on working with municipalities and construction phase activities to gain practical on-the-job experience.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program, with a minimum 2.8 GPA and preferably 3.2 or higher. Sophomore or above with surveying and AutoCAD coursework is desired.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program or closely related field.
• GPA 2.8 minimum; 3.2+ preferred.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects (planning and design).
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Some opportunities may involve design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
