Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. This role involves performing general maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other trades, while ensuring safety and high-quality work.

You will document all tasks and may assist with preparing units for occupancy. Level 3 technicians may mentor a team and coordinate repairs with other staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks across multiple trades.
• Effective communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades and basic troubleshooting.
• Documents work and maintains records per company policy.
• Maintains tools and equipment in ready condition.
• Complies with PPE requirements and safety practices.
• Follows preventive maintenance programs and performs required tasks.
• Assists in make-ready of vacated units and related touch-up work.
• Handles emergency maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Must be able to drive Company or personal vehicle as needed.
• Level 3 Technicians mentor teammates and assist with complex troubleshooting.
