Hunt Companies, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities.

This role covers general maintenance, readiness of units, and preventive tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document work, operating safely in all weather conditions, attics, and crawl spaces.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general maintenance knowledge for Level 1 or more for higher levels.
• Experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair or locksmith.
• Must obtain EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire.
• Must obtain 608 Certification within 180 days from hire for Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and repairs.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Document all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in ready condition.
• Follow PPE and safety practices and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units and support exterior maintenance as needed.
• Perform emergency maintenance and respond to water/other damage scenarios.
• Lead and mentor technicians as Level 3 and support other staff.
