Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support housing communities. The role involves performing general maintenance, make-ready work, and routine repairs across HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and related areas.

You will work outdoors and in tight spaces, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians at Level 3. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED, 1–3 years (Level 1), or more with EPA 608 and OSHA-10 as applicable.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, painting, and carpentry.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Document all work per company policy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in ready condition.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units and minor repairs as needed.
• Perform emergency maintenance tasks and safety checks.
