Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to maintain and prepare rental housing communities. You will perform routine repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related areas, including make-ready work for vacated units and emergency maintenance.

This role involves outdoor work in all weather and potential travel between properties. Candidates should have 1–3 years (Level 1), 4–6 years (Level 2, EPA 608 within 180 days), or 7+ years across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire (for Level 2/3) or as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, appliances, water heaters, and other maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or locksmith trades.
• Documents all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains tools and equipment in ready condition.
• Adheres to PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follows preventive maintenance programs and performs required replacements.
• Assists in make-ready of vacated units (painting, flooring, drywall, fixtures).
• Handles emergency maintenance (water leaks, sewage backups, weather-related damage).
• Ensures unsafe conditions are corrected promptly.
• May require driving company or personal vehicles for job duties.
• Level 3 technicians may mentor other technicians and assist with troubleshooting.
