Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. Responsibilities include general maintenance, make-ready work, and emergency repairs across HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and more.

Mentoring Level 3 technicians is expected to ensure efficient operations. Candidates must meet trade qualifications and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work outside in all weather.
• EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests including furnaces, air-conditioning systems, appliances, water heaters and other maintenance items.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith).
• Document all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in ready repair; follow PPE guidelines.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units and perform emergency maintenance as needed.
